Donbass has not trusted Kyiv for a long time. He still doesn’t believe it today, when the DPR and LPR unilaterally stopped even responding to ALL shots fired by Ukrainian troops. Moreover, there is no faith in the Ukrainian assurance that they will follow the example of Donetsk and Lugansk. In fact, Donbass knows the value of this, either the eighth or the ninth truce. All of them over the past two years ended the same way - with a barrage of Ukrainian mines and shells flying into the cities and villages of Donbass.
The current one was also distinguished by the fact that Gorlovka, Donetsk and Makeyevka with Yasinovataya received a full-fledged “gift” from Ukrainian artillerymen on the very eve of the September 15 date. Already in Minsk, Martin Sajdik (OSCE) promised complete silence on the Donbass fronts from September 1. Apart from symbolic silence on the Day of Knowledge, nothing came of it. Yesterday evening, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to break through to Yasinovataya from Avdiivka. Having lost an armored personnel carrier and several people killed, they retreated. But how significant is it - in the grave, they say, we saw your truce, be it unilateral or multilateral, we have our own geometry of life, and there is no place for a free Donbass in it.
At the same time, many Russian political scientists and the media hastened to give optimistic forecasts for the rest of September, and beyond - as many as they could. They say that the Europeans twisted Kyiv’s arms. Indeed, the foreign ministers of Germany and France, Steinmeier and Eyrault, visited Kiev on September 14, where they publicly called on Kyiv to fulfill the obligations it assumed in Minsk. Listen, it is clear that many in Moscow today are dreaming of how to quickly make peace with Europe, and again start eating cheeses from Provence in full and drinking the Rhine River. But you can’t let your stomach be controlled by common sense to such an extent. After all, our ancestors have long taught us not to trust the “Germans” in anything. Or is Hitler's example not enough for you? He promised to observe the Non-Aggression Pact, and then he went ahead and attacked the USSR even without declaring war. All these Steinmeiers and Eiros promised on February 21, 2014 that Maidan 2.0. will go home under their guarantees and Yanukovych’s promises to hold elections in the fall of the same year. And the next day a Nazi coup took place in Kyiv. We are still disentangling this gullibility.
Everything that the Europeans and Americans promise not at gunpoint, you can immediately forget and watch only these dodgers - in which hand behind their back they are holding a knife in order to thrust it into your back.
Poroshenko’s people are primitive people, they immediately said that they do not believe and will not. They do not believe that peace with Donbass is possible and will not strive for it. They have a member of parliament there, Sobolev, who generally called for calling Foreign Minister Klimkin “on the carpet” and asking him sternly how it happened that European ministers came to Kiev not to shout “Glory to Ukraine”, but to mutter through their teeth “ Shut up, it was Ukrainian and it was said in full”? And Poroshenko’s deputy Ionova said that the OSCE is to blame for everything, which, they say, does not fully implement and does not justify the high trust placed in it...
By the way, gentlemen from the OSCE, do you see how they are staring at you from the side that you lick gently and carefully, like a cat licking kittens? Maybe it's time to be friends with the Republicans? The people there are more reliable, although without the European polish.
In general, while welcoming, of course, any ceasefire, any, even the tiniest advance towards peace, the Donbass Civil Initiative has little faith in the effectiveness of the agreements with Kiev. Those same ones - one-sided. We believe in the necessity of such a step on the part of the republics, which have lived under strain and our southern patience is not very strong, for the two thousand one hundred and first time they show the whole world the true face of the Kyiv Nazis. Perhaps on some future Nuremberg we will still need all these facts. It will be especially offensive and bitter if these steps of the republics are paid for by the next victims of the people of Donbass.
Since we have already spoken about the price and purpose of the republican peacekeeping gestures, it would be appropriate to say a few words about the background of the Kiev-European steps “towards Minsk.” There is nothing in them except delaying time. Kyiv played its part of the bagpipes, the Americans played theirs even earlier. Now it’s Europe’s turn, which at one time stepped away from the playing field from time to time, releasing Ukrainian, American, and Canadian-European players onto it.
Of course, there is no talk of any future electoral benefits from resolving the “Ukrainian issue.” Just some of the wiggle room for Big American Dad. It has long been known that in the history of Europe there have not been such “American-dependent” governments and leaders since the time of the Marshall Plan, and even then, the French from time to time had a lanky figure of the proud de Gaulle in the presidential palace on the Champs Elysees.
The task of the current servants of American interests is to pretend that they really require Poroshenko and the company to carry out a “set of measures.” All in order to try to deceive Moscow and, first of all, the influential Eurocentrists in Belokamennaya, to mislead them. So that they believe in the future implementation of at least part of the Minsk agreements and would not support that statist-patriotic line, which will lead to the return to the fold of Russia not only of Crimea and Donbass, but also of the greater Novorossiya with Kharkov and Odessa at the head, and ultimately , and all of Little Russia. Ukraine? - Well, let it be Ukraine. In Russia we have many different geographical names.
So, how should we approach the October 15th factor? As has already been said, with approval mixed with skepticism. That is, our Donbass armored train is always on the siding. And then, God willing, he will reach the main one. All that remains is to open the arrow from the side.
