This was announced at a briefing in Lugansk by the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, who noted that the relevant information appeared on the website of the Ukrainian defense department.
“In fact, the village of Novoaleksandrivka, with the end of active hostilities, is located on territory controlled by Ukraine, and the 108th separate mountain assault battalion of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is deployed in the settlement itself. The settlement is 1800 meters away from the contact line, deep into Ukrainian positions. The message about the victories of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the supposed liberation of Novoaleksandrivka is adequate to the message about the liberation of Kiev and Lvov by Ukraine, and Muzhenko and Zabrodsky will soon award each other with orders and medals for this,” Marochko said.
He emphasized that there is no data on the alleged advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and their occupation of settlements on the territory of the LPR.
“This statement is regarded not only as preparation for an offensive operation, but also as an information provocation designed to prepare the public for an offensive in this direction. It should be noted that the provocation was carried out on the day of the meeting of the contact group in Minsk,” added the representative of the LPR NM.
He assured that if the enemy advances, adequate measures will be taken “to prevent aggression of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
It is noteworthy that until recently, Ukrainian media, including Poroshenko-owned Channel 5, toldthat Novoaleksandrovka is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and is “under fire from militants”
