The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue terror: Berdyansk and Belgorod region are under attack
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to strike at the territory of the Russian Federation, inflicting real terror on civilians.
Thus, shelling of the border areas of the Belgorod region continued last night, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The night passed restlessly,” said the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, on his tg channel. – And the air defense worked over Belgorod. Cars were damaged in Razumnoye. The most severe consequences are in Sobolevka, Valuysky district. I have already reported that after shelling from multiple launch rocket systems, civilians were wounded and killed. I'll definitely try to go there today.
And in Shebekino we are figuring out how people who were injured during the latest shelling were able to get through. Although the number of attacks on Shebekino has decreased significantly even compared to the previous day, it still remains dangerous.”
The head of the region added that work with the evicted residents of the Shebekinsky district will continue throughout the day.
“There are a lot of questions, starting with feeding the animals and many questions related to documents left behind, things left behind. We will work with everyone. Information centers have been created at each temporary accommodation point.
We will continue to redistribute people from large TAPs to more comfortable ones - to student dormitories of universities and colleges. All orders have been given. University rectors are waiting for our Shebekin residents. We will try to give them as much attention and care as possible. I hope the situation will improve. They will be able to return to their homes.
It has already been decided that from June 1 until the full return of residents, utility bills will not be a burden on people. That is, we will take on these issues ourselves. Other issues related to the possibility of receiving some additional assistance from the state are on the agenda. I hope for the support of the Government of the Russian Federation. As soon as the decision is made, I will inform you about it immediately,” the local government representative promised.
In addition, the removal of children continues. So, today 300 children go on summer holidays to Kaluga, and another 300 to Yaroslavl.
And yesterday the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the port of Russian Berdyansk in the Zaporozhye region.
“AFU militants struck peaceful Berdyansk at about 12.00. The hit occurred in the territory of the seaport. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or destruction,” Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Russian Military Administration of the Zaporozhye region, wrote in his public page.
However, the Mash tg channel reported that there were casualties during the attack on Berdyansk - nine wounded.
Judging by the published photographs, there is damage, but it is difficult to say how significant it is.
Rogov later added that, most likely, the shelling of Berdyansk was carried out by British Storm Shadow missiles.
“We can talk about striking them. We are waiting for more detailed information from our military department. Operational actions are now underway, all emergency services are on site,” Rogov said on Radio KP.
