“Today the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to break through from the direction of the settlement. Luganskoe in the direction of the settlement. Kalinovka (northeast of Debaltsevo). They began to provoke aggressive actions with increasing shelling,” Basurin noted.
He explained that under the fire of their artillery, the Ukrainians advanced a reconnaissance group.
“In an effort to build on their success, the enemy increased fire pressure on our positions. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the units and the skillful leadership of the command staff, the enemy was stopped and thrown back,” the deputy command emphasized.
“Enemy losses amounted to about 10 killed and over 20 wounded. During the battle, 2 enemy infantry fighting vehicles were also destroyed,” Basurin provided updated data.
