The Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a mine in Donetsk, the miners are being evacuated
Ukrainian units fired mortars and cut off power to the ventilation of one of the mines in the Kyiv district of Donetsk.
The head of the Donetsk administration, Alexander Kulemzin, announced this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to shell Donetsk. Arrivals were recorded at a distance of 400 m from the ventilation shaft of the DPR State Unitary Enterprise “Mine named after A.F. Zasyadko." The mine gas pipe of the VPS-110 substation and the input cable to the ventilation shaft (Yakovlevka) were damaged,” Kulemzin wrote.
At the same time, the DPR Representation in the JCCC and in the negotiation process added that as a result of the mortar shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the mine fan was completely de-energized.
“Damage was recorded to the main ventilation fan of the mine. Currently, 85 miners are being evacuated to the surface. In addition, the gas pipe of the VPS-110 substation near the ventilation shaft of the mine was damaged,” the department’s Telegram channel reports.
Earlier there was information that two civilians were seriously injured under mortar fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kiev region of Donetsk.
