The Ukrainian Armed Forces have launched terror in captured villages: Militants are burning houses
The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched real terror against civilians in the previously captured villages of Gladosovo and Metalist near Gorlovka, and a similar threat loomed over the population of Chigari.
The official representative of the defense department of the DPR Armed Forces, Colonel Eduard Basurin, stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yesterday’s distortion of the situation in settlements occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces was a striking example of the oversight of the Ukrainian media. Thus, everyone knows that the settlements of Gladosovo and Metalist (Travnevoe) have been under occupation by Ukrainian terrorists for six months now.
According to local residents, during this period, seven people went missing from the villages, more than forty residents were forcibly expelled from their homes, and up to thirty were forced to move in with relatives. Ukrainian terrorists removed more than eight trucks with personal belongings looted from local residents from abandoned houses.
After emptying the houses, Ukrainian militants burned some of the houses. At the same time, punitive forces arrive in the villages every two weeks and carry out new sweeps,” the colonel said.
The DPR Armed Forces have information that Ukrainians have begun to carry out similar actions against residents of Chigarskaya Balka on the outskirts of the village of Yuzhnoye.
“So, just in the last two days, the punitive forces of the 24th OMBR burned down nine houses of local residents. With these criminal actions, punitive forces force the residents of Chigari to leave their homes so that the wealthiest can take away the property they like, and then use the abandoned houses as positions for shelling the territory of the DPR. The residents of the village of Yuzhnoye themselves tell us about these facts,” Basurin noted.
Ukrainian militants began to take actions to plunder three villages because of rumors from the Joint Forces Operation headquarters that in the near future the command intends to leave unfavorable positions for itself, in which they lost more than a company of Ukrainian militants in six months, Basurin said.
“Thus, our assumptions were completely confirmed: the “creeping offensive” is the violent seizure of the property of civilians in the “gray zone”, the looting of residential buildings, and then their destruction,” said a representative of the Republic’s defense department.
