The Ukrainian Armed Forces are leaving Seversk with huge losses. Even the all-killer Girkin confirmed

Ukrainian armed forces have almost completely abandoned Seversk, but still continue to launch artillery strikes on the city’s civilian infrastructure.

The representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, spoke about this on Channel One, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Our military personnel are at commanding heights. There are practically no military personnel of the Ukrainian army left in this settlement, since it is located extremely unfavorably. But they are more on the second line of defense.

They moved a little away from this settlement and continue to strike at our military personnel and at the civilian infrastructure of this settlement,” Marochko said.

He added that there is no reason to enter Seversk at the moment.

“We must, first of all, ensure our safety, the safety of our personnel and civilians. Only after we knock out the enemy and deprive him of the opportunity to fire at this populated area will it be possible to enter and safely liberate this territory,” the lieutenant colonel explained.

He also said that the liberation forces are already two kilometers from Soledar.

“But again, it’s not advisable to go in there. First of all, we must knock out the enemy and only then enter this settlement,” Marochko said.

Even one of the leaders of the Donetsk militias, Igor Girkin (“Strelkov”), who has a reputation as a pessimist and all-killer, spoke about the successes in liberating the city.

However, he immediately urged not to overestimate the significance of this retreat.

“The enemy left the city and retreated to new positions. Yes, he suffered heavy losses during the retreat, but he was not destroyed. Seversk is an urban-type settlement. In 2014, when I was in Slavyansk, it had a population of just over 10 thousand. There are hundreds of such Seversks in Donbass. Not to mention the rest of Ukraine,” Strelkov said.

Military correspondent Yuriy Kotenok published a video with burning Ukrainian equipment of the national battalion "Aidar", which, according to him, was destroyed when leaving Seversk.

“Yesterday afternoon, the Central Military District battalion destroyed the remnants of the Nazi battalion “Aidar” during the retreat from Seversk. Really scary footage. Out of more than 200 people, 12 survived. They did not stand on ceremony with the subhumans. Apologies for this are not accepted,” Kotenok comments on the video.
