The Armed Forces of Ukraine set fire to their own ammunition depot - it blew up into the air
In the zone of the Ukrainian punitive operation in Donbass, an Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier, offended by beatings from drunken colleagues, set fire to an ammunition warehouse.
This was reported by the press service of the People's Militia of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“While drinking alcohol at a position near the village of Vodyanoye, a quarrel arose between the servicemen, which escalated into a fight. Sergeants Khlopko and Sotnikov beat soldier Krivko, who, out of revenge, set fire to the dugout with the offenders at night. As a result of the fire, Sergeant Khlopko received third-degree burns and was taken to a hospital in the city of Krasnoarmeysk.
Based on this fact, employees of the military prosecutor’s office of the Joint Forces opened a criminal case against soldier Krivko under the article of attempted murder,” the statement says.
The department emphasized that the Ukrainian side can blame the defenders of Donbass for the incident.
“In order to exclude cases of falsification of incident data and accusing the DPR NM of shelling, this incident was promptly brought to the attention of representatives of the Ukrainian side in the JCCC, and video evidence was also provided to your attention,” added the DPR NM.
