The Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to use Vinnitsa airfield for military purposes
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak signed a tripartite memorandum with the Chairman of the Vinnitsa Regional State Administration Valery Korovy and the mayor Sergei Morgunov on the basic principles of joint use of the Vinnitsa airfield, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This is stated in a statement from the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
“This agreement will allow us to begin work aimed at implementing the government program for the reconstruction and development of the Vinnitsa airport. High-quality airfield infrastructure will improve the quality and safety of flights. The presence of an international modern airport is a strategic issue for the development of the city of Vinnitsa,” the statement says.
Poltorak noted that the experience of joint use of the airfield network is a common practice in many countries around the world.
Thanks to this decision, in his opinion, the airfield infrastructure will develop and will contribute to the high-quality performance of tasks by military pilots.
