The Ukrainian Armed Forces again struck the Antonovsky Bridge in Kherson, as a result, construction equipment burned down, with the help of which the bridge was supposed to be strengthened after damage from the first strike of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“The same fire control that we have maintained for several days in this direction has been worked out. It has its results, it has hits – quite serious – on both the Antonovsky and Kakhovsky bridges,” said Natalya Gumenyuk, head of the joint coordination press center of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine.
In addition, the Ukrainian military announced the destruction of several bases with ammunition.
The impact burned the equipment of the construction workers who were repairing the road on it, according to the pro-Russian authorities of the region. However, the bridge structure did not receive any additional damage compared to previous ones.

“We live near the Antonovsky Bridge. This is what is falling from the sky,” local public pages quote eyewitnesses and publish photos of shell fragments.
“We are waiting for a video from the scene and a report on how many HIMARS missiles were shot down by the bridge as a result of a “gesture of goodwill,” the admins of the telegram public “Fucking Kherson” sarcastically commented on the shelling.
Local publics also report the sounds of machine gun fire in the city and explosions outside of it.
