“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are becoming vulnerable to the enemy” – Tymchuk
By straightening the front line by occupying villages in the “gray zone,” Ukrainian units are thereby exposed to fire.
Ukrainian propagandist, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense Dmitry Tymchuk stated this in an interview with the Kiev online publication “Apostrophe”, answering the question of how the mechanism for occupying settlements in the “gray zone” by the Armed Forces of Ukraine works and how far Ukrainian forces can advance military.
He admitted that he has an ambiguous attitude towards this phenomenon, since proximity to enemy positions does not always play in favor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“From a military point of view, this is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, we can improve our position, straighten the front line, which, of course, is to our advantage. On the other hand, the closer we are to the enemy’s positions, the more vulnerable we become, especially considering that during the so-called truces it is primarily the Ukrainian Armed Forces that maintain it. The initiator of various armed provocations and shelling are the Russian occupation forces,” the propagandist claims.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Tymchuk noted the increased level of artillery of the LDPR.
He also blurted out that Ukrainian army is not ready for war.
