The Ukrainian Armed Forces are building a NATO military camp in Mariupol
The Ukrainian military command is building a military camp in frontline Mariupol for the permanent deployment of the 56th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was reported in the Army Inform news agency, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Funds have already been allocated for the construction of the brigade’s infrastructure according to NATO standards in the city of Mariupol, where administrative, park and residential areas will be provided. Then, after solving a number of everyday and housing problems, the brigade’s servicemen will be able to focus more on combat training issues,” the message says.
It is noted that the administrative and residential complex is being built in the place of permanent deployment of the brigade according to NATO standards and will accommodate a motorized infantry battalion, a military vehicle fleet, a canteen, as well as administrative, residential and park areas.
The construction of the base was inspected by the head of the operational command “South”, Major General Igor Palagnyuk.
However, the exact location of the military facility is not disclosed.
