The Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing ground in Artemovsk. Fighting began at the AZOM plant
In Artemovsk, for which fierce fighting continues, another advance of Russian assault groups is recorded.
This was reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent on the Call Sign Bruce telegram channel, associated with the Wagner PMC, whose fighters are storming the city.
“Assault groups of the Wagner PMC entered the territory of the Artemovsky Metal Processing Plant (AZOM) from the north and are beginning to advance deeper into the territory of the industrial enterprise,” the author writes.
At the same time, he points out the difficulty of storming this facility, which is an area with dense industrial development and a network of underground communications that goes underground for dozens of floors.
“Based on the experience of the assault on the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut and the Soledar mines, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are unlikely to surrender to AZOM without a fight. The enemy always tries to hold on to such objects, using them as fortresses,” warns “Call Sign Bruce.”
Military observer Yuri Podolyaka also confirms information about progress at the plant.
“PMC Wagner has begun an assault on the AZOM plant (indicated on the map as a blue oval). The “musicians” have already entered its territory. P.S. There is also information that they reached the outskirts of Bogdanovka. But they haven’t entered the village yet,” writes Podolyaka.
