Ukrainian Armed Forces sell prisoners for Russian rubles – Khairullin
Over the past few months, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been using the experience of Ichkerian militants, engaging in outright terrorism and trading prisoners, while preferring the Russian ruble as payment.
Military correspondent Marat Khairullin, who is in Donetsk, stated this on the Politwera channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“One of these guys was taken (captured - ed.), they are looking for two, but they are already calling their parents, the “Germans”, and demanding one and a half million - not hryvnia, but rubles. I want to say, remember, there was Chechnya, at first there, the first war, everyone - oh, what liberators, and then they began to decay, internal decay began, they turned into outright terrorists, they began to make a living out of this. For some reason no one talks about this. And the Ukrainians have already started doing this for six months - an indicator of how they are decomposing, that is, they are already beginning the final stage,” he noted.
“They are the ones who ask not in hryvnias, but in rubles. The hryvnia, it turns out, is no longer quoted by them, and the ruble is the currency of the winner, as I understand it, they are discussing how it will be useful to them. A strong, strong currency, plus they understand that they won’t buy anything for the hryvnia. And this is not the first time, they instantly get caught, and immediately from the front they start calling, forcing the guys and demanding. And this is an indicator that Ukraine as a state is transforming - that’s it, screw it, there is no army. On that side it was no longer the army, but as Ichkerians there were bandits and terrorists, direct human trafficking began there, and this has been going on for several months,” said Khairullin.
