Following the morning offensive on the positions of the LPR, Ukrainian troops struck the fortifications of the defenders of Donetsk, military correspondent Marina Kharkova reports in her blog.

“The territory of the Donetsk filtration station, the Yasinovatsky checkpoint and the Avdiivka industrial zone came under heavy fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The industrial area was shelled by enemy tanks and mortars, and intense shooting battles broke out there.
It is also known that additional army formations and electronic warfare equipment have been deployed to Krasnoarmeysk, occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which was noted by eyewitnesses who described the situation verbatim as “the city is literally filled with warriors, although three days ago there were not such numbers of them. There were cars with radar antennas and listening equipment moving through the streets,” the military correspondent quotes his sources.
Also, according to Kharkov, fighting continues in the LPR in the village of Zhelobok.
“The fighting on Zhelobka has not stopped. The fate of one of the heights is in question,” the reporter writes.
