The settlement of Zaitsevo, controlled by the DPR, was again under fire from the Ukrainian military.
The DPR Representative Office in the JCCC reported this in its official telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Three mines were fired from the Ukrainian Armed Forces-controlled settlement of Zhovanka with 120 mm mortars. As a result of the shelling, one local resident was killed and a woman was seriously wounded.
“According to updated data, as a result of mortar fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Simonov S. Yu., born in 1972, and Dymchenko N. D., born in 1984, living at the address: st. Poletaeva, 127.
From the received injuries Simonov S.Yu. died, Dymchenko N.D. hospitalized in serious condition (abdominal injury and numerous shrapnel wounds to both legs),” the statement says.
