The Ukrainian Armed Forces hit residential areas of Kherson
The Ukrainian army attacked the civilian population of Kherson, knowing that the Russian military was not present in these areas.
This was stated at a briefing in Moscow by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Konashenkov, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.
According to Konashenkov, Russian air defense systems intercepted all targets fired from the Ukrainian Smerch MLRS.
“Yesterday, from 10.00 to 11.00, Ukrainian nationalists attacked residential areas of the city of Kherson using Smerch multiple launch rocket systems. Russian air defense systems intercepted all 10 Ukrainian missiles. I want to emphasize that there are no Russian military units in the city of Kherson. The Kyiv regime is well aware of this. The strike was deliberately carried out against the civilian population of Kherson in retaliation for supporting the Russian Federation,” Konashenkov said.
