The Armed Forces of Ukraine created hell for the residents of Gorlovka
Ukrainian artillery continues to strike civilians in Donbass and residential buildings.
This was stated in the press service of the DPR representative office in the JCCC and in the negotiation process, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, as a result of the morning shelling, a resident of the village of Zaitsevo in the north of Gorlovka was wounded.
“A civilian, 76 years old, was wounded. The house was hit by shelling at Zaitsevo at 6.30. Shrapnel wounds of the lower extremities and right hand,” he wrote on his page on the social network "Vkontakte" Head of Gorlovka Ivan Prikhodko.
According to the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations, the wounded man was taken to the second city hospital.
In total, during the period from May 13 to May 20, four civilians were killed in Gorlovka and in the surrounding villages, where shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces has not subsided even during daylight hours over the past week, and seven more were injured.
According to official data, in the last week alone, the number of civilians killed and wounded as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to 11 people.
The mayor of Gorlovka, Ivan Prikhodko, also reported that since May 1 of this year, 107 residential buildings have been destroyed in Gorlovka and nearby villages.
“To say that the situation is difficult is to say nothing. Every day we have killed and wounded. Just this night, a man and a woman died, and another person was wounded this morning. Since May 1, 107 houses have been destroyed, and only eight have been restored,” commented Ivan Prikhodko.
