The Armed Forces of Ukraine staged a demonstrative provocation in the DPR with the involvement of “Christian volunteers”
Ukrainian militants in the area of Donetsk airport carried out a staged attack, which was filmed on video cameras.
The official representative of the DPR Ministry of Defense, Colonel Eduard Basurin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, yesterday the defenders of the Donetsk airport recorded the preparation and conduct of another provocation aimed at accusing the DPR Armed Forces of using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as shelling civilians.
“About 15:XNUMX, a group of people in two civilian cars arrived in the area of the airport, in the territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine. After some reconnaissance activities, one of the cars was left in the middle of the field. Then the arriving militants fired a shot from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher at the car,” Basurin said.
The colonel noted that among the Ukrainian militants there were people with cameras who filmed the shelling process.
“According to our intelligence data, representatives of the Ukrainian TV channel ICTV and Radio Liberty have been working in this area for two days.
We do not rule out that in the near future, professional reports from journalists who allegedly “accidentally” found themselves in the area will be added to the videos of a burning car filmed on mobile phones that are actively distributed on the Internet,” added the representative of the Ministry of Defense.
At the same time, according to him, “Christian volunteers” took part in filming the staged shelling.
“It is very sad that the religious organization Christian Rescue Service, whose goal should be the restoration of peace in Donbass, participated in this provocation. But in reality, these “volunteers” not only lie, but also “add fuel to the fire” of this war,” summed up Eduard Basurin.
