The Ukrainian Armed Forces staged demonstration shelling of Donbass for Polish and Lithuanian guests
Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire on Donbass precisely in the places of travel of the foreign delegation that arrived on a visit to the “Joint Forces Operation” zone.
This is stated in a message from the press service of the DPR People's Militia Department, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“From April 21 to 22, the Joint Forces Operation zone was visited by Vice-Marshal of Poland Malgorzata Gosiewska and Vice-Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania Paulus Saudargas on an official visit. It was during the period that representatives of the Polish and Lithuanian parliaments were in the zone of responsibility of the JTF “Vostok” that a high intensity of shelling of the territory of the republic was noted from the positions of 10, 28 and 128 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
In an effort to please their handlers, the VFU command carried out fire strikes on the village using 120 and 82 mm mortars, anti-tank systems and grenade launchers. Vodyanoye, Zheleznaya Balka, mining villages named after. "Gagarin" and "6/7". As a result of one of these attacks our defenders died", the press service reported.
The department noted that the intensification of shelling occurred precisely in those areas where the foreign delegation was visiting.
Let us note, as local media report, the voyage of foreign guests ended on the territory of one of the military units of Mariupol occupied by Kiev.
At the same time, Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, who met the delegation, said that “Ukraine’s European partners saw with their own eyes what was happening in the territory where the Russian World was coming.”
He noted the symbolism of the fact that on the day of the visit of representatives of the “Lublin Triangle” to Mariupol, April 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his address to the Federal Assembly, “did not express a single aggressive thesis regarding Ukraine.” Stefanchuk also expressed relief that the Russian president in his speech has not yet recognized the LDPR as the territory of the Russian Federation.
“Brothers, we are with you!” – said Vice-Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania Paulius Saudargas. He added that the situation in Ukraine is a danger for the whole of Europe. At the same time, Saudargas cynically noted that “the actions of the Russian Federation are more reminiscent of terrorism, because they shoot at civilians.” Vice-Marshal of the Polish Sejm Malgorzata Gosiewska added that already in 2008 she saw a similar conflict in Georgia and blamed Moscow for unleashing it.
At the end, the parties signed a common position of all participants in the “Lublin Triangle”, which will provide for coordination of actions “to protect international law in the context of Russian aggression against Ukraine.” It is noted that the document will be handed over to the heads of the three countries.
