The Armed Forces of Ukraine are already preparing for the “Battle of Kursk”, realizing that “Stalingrad” was lost - Podolyaka
The general battle for the Russian Armed Forces in the zone of the special military operation will take place in February, while the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing for it in March.
Millionaire blogger and military observer Yuri Podolyaka stated this on Radio Crimea, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Of course, I don’t know the plans, because the plans are in the General Staff,” he noted. “I can only guess, taking into account the fact that not all of our reserves have already been used, and most importantly, the enemy has not used his strategic reserve.” I understand, and everyone understands, that the main battle has not yet begun, the main forces have not been brought into battle. But everyone is preparing very intensively for it, and indeed, everything suggests that it should break out in February.”
The result of the battle, according to the observer, will be a new configuration of the front and an understanding of how events will develop further, which depends on the number of losses.
“The enemy is expected to prepare for a spring offensive, but will he be able to do it? It's not clear yet. He already tried, he also wanted to attack in winter. But due to the fact that he suffered very heavy losses in the winter, all these plans were postponed. It may well be exactly the same, if we manage to successfully carry out the main offensive campaign, we will also be able to ensure that they will not be able to make any serious blow. And if they try, they will be crushed,” Podolyaka believes.
– Now the situation is very reminiscent of 1942–early 1943, when, as a result, after the defeat of Stalingrad, although Artyomovsk is not exactly Stalingrad, but in many ways Soledar and Artyomovsk are Stalingrad in miniature, but in terms of significance they are very important, because the opponents are in Ukraine They realized that there would be no winning the war - there would be a loss. The only question is when and with what losses.
Why are the mobilized resisting now, who are being pulled out from all corners to all the cities of Ukraine? They all understand that they are going to slaughter, that the war will not be won, that they will simply be destroyed for the benefit of the Anglo-Saxon world. And this greatly complicates and creates problems for the enemy, and in a sense, Stalingrad is for us and for them.”
The formation of units for the attack on Crimea indicates the latest attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to turn the situation in its favor.
“After Stalingrad there was the Battle of Kursk, the main task of which for the Germans was to try one last time to turn the situation in their favor, using their best units at that time. Hence the attempt to sell them Western powerful weapons, to assemble elite units from the same border guards, national guard and police. They are now forming new teams to try their luck one last time in the spring. As a result of this attempt, there will be some other new reality. As a matter of fact, this is how war usually goes,” Podolyaka concluded.
