The Ukrainian Armed Forces no longer hide the fact that they are using the truce to move forward
The Ukrainian command in the ATO zone uses every truce as an option to move forward without losses for themselves.
Colonel Eduard Basurin, deputy commander of the operational command of the DPR, stated this in an interview with the Union TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, the colonel said that at those moments when the next truce was declared, many changes were taking place at the front.
“At that moment, mobilization work was underway on the Ukrainian side, moving equipment along the front line. They did this without fear, strengthened their positions, and slowly moved forward. This is all at the moment of the truce. They used it as an option to move forward without losses for themselves,” Basurin noted.
The deputy commander of the DPR operational command emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces used to do this secretly, but now everything has changed.
“At first they were shy, now they are talking about it openly - there will be a truce, which means we need to move forward,” added the DPR representative.
