The Armed Forces of Ukraine opened a clandestine alcohol production plant in Donbass
Ukrainian military personnel in the OOS zone organized an illegal alcohol production workshop, the products of which were distributed not only throughout the Kyiv-controlled Donbass, but were also sent deep into the country.
The head of the LPR People's Militia Department, Colonel Yan Leshchenko, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We continue to receive information about the involvement of high-ranking Ukrainian militants in illegal business in the zone of occupation forces.
SBU officers identified an underground business for the production of alcoholic beverages, established in the Joint Forces Operation zone by war criminal Voichenko. The factory where alcohol is produced is guarded by soldiers of the 14th brigade on the outskirts of the village of Voronovo.
Uninterrupted, round-the-clock work and security of the workshop was ensured by twenty-six Ukrainian militants of the 14th brigade, to whom Voichenko paid cash bonuses.
During the inspection of the premises, employees found documents, raw materials, boxes, excise stamps and more than twelve tons of products ready for sale. The alcohol produced was distributed not only in the JFO zone, but was also sent into the interior of the country, which went to markets and shops,” he said.
