The Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass are installing minefields around populated areas
Regardless of the danger to the lives of civilians, the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass are mining the area around populated areas with anti-tank and anti-personnel mines.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the LPR People's Militia Department, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the period from March 22 to the present, in the area of responsibility of the 59th brigade, at the direction of the criminal Shapovalov, in the area of the settlement of Novoluganskoye, Ukrainian sappers are actively mining the area, including country roads, with PMN-2 anti-personnel mines and TM-62 anti-tank mines.
In order to conceal their actions, in the village of Novoluganskoye, jamming of cellular network signals was noted, as well as the impact on control and navigation channels of the OSCE SMM UAV using a mobile electronic warfare group,” he said.
The officer also called on local residents to be extremely careful because their settlements are surrounded by minefields.
“By order of the war criminal Fedosenko, militants of the 92nd mechanized brigade previously installed one hundred TM-62 anti-tank mines in a field and near the road at the exit from the village of Popasnaya.
We strongly recommend that residents of the Donbass territory temporarily occupied by Ukraine be extremely vigilant and careful. Remember that for Ukrainian militants your lives are of no value.
