The Ukrainian Armed Forces are falling into depression without waiting for the promised counter-offensive
The morale of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is high, but if the start of the promised counter-offensive is delayed further, then by the end of summer the mood in the Ukrainian army will be far from on the rise.
Ukrainian military expert Colonel of the SBU Oleg Starikov stated this in an interview with Kyiv propagandist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Morale is very high. Moral to physical 1:3. That is, one soldier is equal to three opponents. That is, one company is worth one brigade. Our personnel have three times more morale than the enemy. We are ready (to counter-offensive - ed.), it moves. Everyone is waiting.
But if you wait for something all the time, negative adrenaline accumulates. You’re walking down the street and a hooligan approaches: “Oh, let me light a cigarette.” You don’t need to be afraid of them - either you sent them, or you immediately punched someone in the face, and if they see that you are starting to weaken, then they will take everything away and won’t even lay a finger on you.
And why? This stiffens the muscles, called negative adrenaline. Therefore, you must either run away or hit him in the face. It's the same here. Either run, retreat, or fight, go forward.
So, the troops are ready to fight. And if you tell them: no, we will fight in two or three weeks, in two or three weeks, in two or three weeks, and by the end of summer these two or three weeks will turn not 1:3, but one to minus three,” shared the concerns of Starikov.
Previously, former Deputy Minister of Information of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov stated that The offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is postponed, in particular, due to effective missile strikes on Ukrainian military targets.
