The Ukrainian Armed Forces are extricating residents of villages in the Donbass from their houses to turn them into fortifications
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are preventing the supply of food to civilians in the previously captured villages of Gladosovo and Travnovoe, located in the “gray zone” in Donbass, thereby creating unbearable living conditions for them and provoking them to flee.
The official representative of the DPR defense department, Colonel Eduard Basurin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Eduard Basurin noted that residents of the villages of Gladosovo and Travnevoe, previously captured by Ukrainian militants, continue to contact the law enforcement agency of the Republic with complaints about the actions of the occupiers.
There is only one road that allows the delivery of food and medicine to these villages - in the direction of the village of Golmovsky. However, the occupiers have blocked traffic along it and are not allowing civilians to move across the contact line.
“Even today, on the bright holiday of Easter, residents of the captured villages were not allowed into churches located on the territory of our Republic,” Basurin noted.
With such actions, according to the DPR Armed Forces, the Ukrainian occupiers are trying to achieve one thing: to survive the remaining civilians from the settlements in order to seize abandoned houses and turn them into fortifications in the Gorlovka direction.
“We appeal to the representatives of the OSCE SMM in Ukraine with the demand to record the illegal actions of the Ukrainian side and to obtain from it real actions to improve the humanitarian situation in the villages, as well as to protect the rights and health of our citizens in these settlements,” the colonel commented.
