The Ukrainian Armed Forces killed valuable drone operators in a “meat assault”
Even in the second year of the war, the Ukrainian army sends valuable qualified specialists like drone operators to the assault as regular infantry.
The editor-in-chief of the propaganda website “Censor”, Ukrainian military correspondent Yuri Butusov, stated this on his Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is a situation where we have drone operators being sent into assault attacks. There are such cases.
For example, a few days ago in one reconnaissance battalion, an entire group of drone operators was sent into the attack as attack aircraft with machine guns instead of doing their work with drones.
But people were sent into battle with machine guns and died, although they would have been much more effective if they had worked with drones. And this situation is observed in many departments,” Butusov said.
He complained that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine would not change the staffing structure of the army in any way to meet modern needs.
"Why is this happening? As it turned out, the structure of our army is not adapted to modern technological warfare.
Those operators who were sent to attack were not drone operators. Because there are still no drone operator positions in the reconnaissance battalion reconnaissance companies.
That’s why many drone operators fight, some for a year and a half, in attack aircraft,” the propagandist complained.
