The head of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to local residents, a group of military men brutally beat the seller of the Teremok store on Donetskaya Street in the village of Shchastye. The military took the money from the cash register, loaded food from the counters into a truck and disappeared in an unknown direction,” he said.
According to a representative of the defense department, the injured seller was taken to the Shchastya city hospital in serious condition.
“According to our sources, the store owner, three days before the robbery, informed law enforcement agencies about threats from officers of the Ukrainian armed forces, who offered so-called “protection”, for which they demanded a lot of money,” Osadchy added.
At the same time, he noted that the owners of seven more stores filed similar complaints with the police in the city of Shchastya, but law enforcement officers did not take any action.
