Armed Forces members are hooked on American drugs
Servicemen from one of the brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, located in the JFO area, used medications included in American-made personal first aid kits to obtain narcotic substances.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, in the units of the 46th separate air assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the commission of the headquarters of the operational-tactical group “North” continues to work on the facts of massive drug use in the brigade.
“According to sources in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the work of the commission it was established that the militants of the brigade used drugs from American individual first-aid kits supplied to units as part of foreign assistance to produce narcotic substances,” Filiponenko said.
He also added that in order to control the investigation into drug addiction and identify channels for the delivery of narcotic substances, the commander of the Joint Forces Operation, Lieutenant General Vladimir Kravchenko, personally arrived in the unit’s area of responsibility.
