Armed Forces of Ukraine burned down the medical unit to hide the theft of medicines
In the Luhansk region, militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces started a fire in a medical unit in order to hide the shortage of drugs for the treatment of covid-19.
Representative of the People's Militia of the LPR Yakov Osadchy announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On October 23, in the area of the settlement of Nizhnyaya Olkhovaya, an arson was committed at the first aid post of the 1st air assault battalion of the 80th brigade. The forces of militants and State Emergency Service employees localized the fires, which was confirmed by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters.
After conducting investigative measures, employees of the VSP and the SBU established the fact of a deliberate arson by two servicemen of the battalion - the head of the medical service, senior lieutenant Sveshnikov, and his subordinate, senior soldier Karpensky, in order to conceal the missing medications intended for the treatment of coronavirus infection,” the report says.
According to LPR intelligence, during the search it was established that more than 500 boxes of medicines, medical supplies and equipment were hidden in the basement of the medical center. Criminal cases were opened against Ukrainian militants.
