Vsushniki started a fight with each other because of their colleagues who were blown up by a mine
In the “Joint Forces Operation” zone, two Ukrainian militants were blown up by a “friendly” mine, and their colleagues, looking for someone to blame, fought among themselves.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the LPR People's Militia Department, stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On August 25, at the positions of the 34th battalion of the 57th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the settlement of Novotoshkovskoye, two servicemen were blown up on an anti-personnel mine installed between the positions of the 34th and 17th battalions of the 57th brigade,” he said.
As a result of the incident, one militant died on the spot, and another was evacuated to a nearby military hospital with a traumatic amputation of his right foot.
The commander of the victims immediately identified the sappers of the neighboring 17th battalion as the perpetrators of the incident and, together with his personal guard, went after them. However, they refused to hand over their colleagues. A fight ensued.
“As a result of the conflict that broke out between the militants, several people received injuries of varying severity. The fight had to be broken up by military law enforcement officers who arrived on the scene and detained twelve people, who are now being investigated,” Filiponenko concluded.
