Armed Forces members staged a mass brawl that ended with serious injuries
Ukrainian servicemen in Donbass, accusing each other of theft, staged a mass brawl, as a result of which five Ukrainian servicemen were injured.
This was reported by the press service of the DPR NM, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We became aware of the circumstances of the night incident involving UFU militants. Local residents of the village of Berdyansk witnessed a mass fight of more than twenty militants from the 501st battalion of the 36th Marine Brigade and the 74th Reconnaissance Battalion. As a result of the brawl, five militants required medical assistance, two of them were hospitalized with traumatic brain injuries; sailor Rumyantsev suffered a traumatic amputation of his right ear. Two militants refused hospitalization.
During the investigation, it was established that the cause of the skirmish was ammunition and personal belongings that had gone missing from the platoon stronghold of the 36th brigade the day before, for which the Marines blamed their “neighbors” from the 74th reconnaissance battalion,” the report says.
The department added that another incident that resulted in non-combat losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine occurred during firing training.
“At the training ground in the area of the settlement of Predtechino, where sailor Tsekalo, when discharging his weapon, fired an involuntary shot, as a result of which the platoon commander, Lieutenant Shevchenko, received a through wound to his right leg,” DPR intelligence reported.
