The entire Crimean government is engaged in the renovation of one square in Simferopol
The head of the Simferopol administration, Mikhail Afanasyev, began to perform his official duties. Today a contract was signed with him.
The new head held the first off-site meeting on the square. Lenin, which will soon celebrate the anniversary of being under repair, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Of course, we will make every effort to complete the improvement as quickly as possible,” Afanasiev summed up the meeting.
Let us remind you that the new, already sixth in modern Russian history, head of Simferopol was appointed at a session of the City Council on March 14. On the same day, Afanasyev visited the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov “on the carpet”, where he received instructions to take a personal part in every issue and immerse himself in the material.
Already on March 17, Aksenov, live on one of the Crimean TV channels, set the new head of Simferopol the task of completing the reconstruction of Lenin Square by April 1.
“We are completing the long-suffering Lenin Square. So far, the contractor has promised to complete it by April 1, the work is going on every day,” Aksenov said and added that they will not change the contractor so as not to delay the already long repairs.
An agreement was signed with Komplekt LLC for 109,2 million rubles.
However, the contractor is not working on site. And it takes at least a month to put the area in order.
Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed out the improvement of public and local areas in Crimean cities at a meeting with the heads of Crimea and Sevastopol. According to him, this is where the assessment of the quality of life of citizens begins, and this is what the authorities need to focus on. Moreover, funds are allocated - Moscow annually provides a subsidy of several billion rubles. In response, Aksenov complained about the labor shortage in the region and expressed hope that the vacancies would be filled by citizens arriving from the special operation zone.
