The head of the information service of the group of federal troops during the Second Chechen War, retired Colonel Gennady Alekhin, spoke about this on the “SR For Truth” channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They distract, first of all, from the front line. Now operational information has already arrived, which has already been confirmed, that equipment and troops are being transferred through Kharkov, among other things, towards Donbass. This means in the direction of Gorlovka, Avdeevka and Marinka. And this is such a distracting maneuver.
Moreover, during last night and yesterday, massive attacks were carried out on the territory of the Kharkov region from the Belgorod region. Naturally, all these places of accumulation, transfer, redeployment were amazed and destroyed, in a word, these logistics were disrupted. This only confirms this fact,” the colonel said.
However, he did not rule out that the Donetsk direction may not become the main one.
“I would not say that the plans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces command specifically focus on the direction of the main attack on the Donetsk agglomeration. This is one of the options. Therefore, troops are constantly moving secretly, striking fists are being created in one area or another. Do not forget that the same situation is in the southern direction.
No one has canceled the attempts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out active offensive operations in the Zaporozhye region - this is along the Orekhovo-Pologi line. Some large-scale military operations will begin in the near future. This is indisputable,” assured Alekhin.
