Second arrest in a day. Kosovo Police Ceremoniously Arrest Nasim Haradinaj
Deputy Chairman of the Veterans' Organization of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK) Nasim Haradinaj was arrested following his boss Hisni Gutsati in Pristina after the leak of the indictment file of the Special Court for Kosovo in The Hague.
To arrest the former militant from the Haradinaev clan, they did not use the EULEX occupation mission, limiting themselves to the local “police,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Haradinaj was arrested while on her way to a meeting with T7 journalist Vehbi Kaytazi. Haradinaj subsequently accused the reporter of tipping off the police to him.
Kosovo special forces ROSU arrived to take the deputy chairman of the Organization of Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK), but the former militant refused to go with the special forces, waiting for the usual police patrol crew, with whom he left. A crowd of onlookers arrived at the scene of the incident and supported the ex-militant with chanting and applause.
“Do we have a state, government bodies and parliament? Do we have a Constitution? Does anyone have any right to enter someone's home, let alone their offices, without knocking? EULEX treats us this way because it doesn’t consider us human,” Haradinaj raged. – If this (Special) court does not belong to Kosovo, then we are against this court and will work against it. Today the world laughs not at those who were taken, but at those who say that they have a state and that they supposedly see it.”
Let us remind you that in the first half of the day, soldiers of the European occupation police mission EULEX conducted a search in the office of the UCK Veterans Organization, arresting its head Hisni Gutsati.
The reason for the arrest and search was a leak indictment dossier of the Special Court for Kosovo, which ended up in the hands of former militants, and this fact was made public by the representative of the Haradinaj crime clan, the cousin of the war criminal and ex-“Prime Minister” of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj - Nasim Haradinaj.
