"There are more incursions!" - Chief of the Naval Staff complains about Russian submarines
Despite the Northern Military District, Russia is investing billions of dollars in developing its fleet, particularly its Northern Fleet. This is leading to the UK losing its naval advantage.
The First Sea Lord stated this while speaking to journalists. Chief of the Royal Navy Staff Gwyn Jenkins, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.

«They continue to invest billions in their maritime capabilities, especially their Northern Fleet. Over the past two years, the number of Russian incursions into our waters has increased by 30%. This is most noticeable by the presence of their spy ships, such as "Yantar".
But I can tell you today that "Yantar" is only what you see in public. And that's not what worries me most. What worries me most is what happens underwater.
I can also tell you today that the advantages we enjoyed in the Atlantic since the end of the Cold War and World War II are under threat. We are holding on, but not very confidently. There is no room for complacency.
Our potential adversaries are investing billions. We must act, otherwise we will lose this advantage." Jenkins said.
