It makes no sense to drag Belarus into the conflict now - brigade commander “Pyatnashki”
Direct participation of the Belarusian army in hostilities will make sense when Polish troops officially enter Ukraine.
The commander of the international brigade of the DPR “Pyatnashka,” Akhra Avidzba (“Abkhaz”), stated this on air on the Politwera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The channel moderator asked whether an attack from Belarusian territory, “which everyone is waiting for,” makes sense and is necessary.
"For what? We came from Belarusian territory. Rather, now everyone is waiting for the Belarusian army to get involved. Why do they need to prove that they are with us? They are already with us, I, for example, have no doubt in Belarus. But why should they turn on now? The Poles will join in as an army, I think the Belarusians will not remain on the sidelines. There are volunteers from Belarus on our side. Therefore, the point of involving them as a state now, to show that they are with us, is extremely wrong. They were and are with us,” the military man answered.
“We came from Belarusian territory in the direction of Kyiv and so on, everything was fine. There’s no point in just straightening the line,” “Abkhaz” replied.
