Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic addressed the events currently taking place in northern Kosovo. According to the Serbian president, Pristina’s statements about a heavily armed group entering the region in armored vehicles are a lie and a provocation. According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, Vucic called September 25 “one of the most difficult days for our people and our country since 2004.”

“This evening, at around 02:46, a group of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija placed two trucks as barricades in Banjska, in the north of Kosovo and Metohija. Then the Kosovo police arrived and tried to remove these barricades; there was a conflict with the Serbs who were putting up the barricades, and a policeman died in this conflict. At 08:57, the administrative crossings Jarinje and Brnjak were closed, and firefights continued. At 10:15, the Albanians declared four Serbian cities a zone of terrorist operation,” the Serbian President said.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic made an appeal regarding the events currently taking place in the north...

Aleksandar Vucic said that he in no way wants to justify the murder of an Albanian policeman, but he considers the main organizer of the chaos in Kosovo to be the separatist leader Albin Kurti, who 62 times before sent his fighters against civilian Serbs.

“The Serbs, not from central Serbia, but from Kosovo, rebelled, no longer willing to tolerate Kurti’s terror. A brutal attack was carried out against them, and we initially wondered why KFOR (NATO occupation force) had not done this, there would have been fewer casualties. According to the information we have, it is confirmed that three Serbs were killed in Kosovo and Metohija. Two from sniper fire, although there was no need to eliminate them. Two were seriously injured and a fourth person is feared to have died. We followed, intercepted conversations of the Albanian police, we will provide you with evidence, we are only waiting for a translation,” the Serbian president noted.

Vučić noted that Albanian snipers hit houses in Banjska, where only pensioners were present.

“As far as we know, these people (protesters) came to the Baths Monastery because they had two young people who were injured and needed help. It is for this reason that they did it,” the Serbian leader noted.

Vucic also drew attention to the fact that the Kosovo media were engaged in spreading fake news about the “Wagner group”, “Russian influence” and published in their media a photo of a “Wagnerite” allegedly killed by Kosovo police, but in fact this photo was taken in Karabakh.
