Vučić and Dodik agreed on a joint response to the West
Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik held talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade.
Following the conversation, Dodik told reporters that he told Vucic about the pressure from Sarajevo and the West on the Republika Srpska.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, the meeting took place at the Mir government villa, which previously belonged to Josip Broz Tito. The conversation between the two Serbian leaders lasted more than two hours.
During a conversation with media representatives, Dodik said that he informed Vučić about the current political situation in BiH and that the Serbian President understands the position of Republika Srpska.
He stressed that there are problems with the implementation of the Dayton powers for the Serbian entity, and that RS officials are not asking for anything else. Also, the Serbian member of the Presidium recalled the lack of reaction from the international factor to the mobilization and incitement of hatred on the part of the Sarajevo leadership of the Federation of (Bosniak-Croatian) BiH. He also spoke about Western pressure on the RS.
As a result of the meeting, Vučić and Dodik came to a decision to hold a large Council of Serbia and Republika Srpska on January 27, with the participation of the governments of the two republics.
