Vucic confirmed that Greece does not recognize Kosovo
As part of the EU-Western Balkans summit, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
This was reported by Politika, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Greece will continue to support the territorial integrity of Serbia, will continue to support Serbia itself and will help it on its European path. As he (Mitsotakis) told me, they will continue to support all (together with Kosovo - ed.) Serbia,” President Vučić said during a press conference following the EU-Balkans summit in the Slovenian Brdo Castle near Kranj.
Vucic also noted that he had a short conversation with the Prime Minister of Spain, whom he thanked for his support, with the Prime Minister of Slovakia, the President of Romania, as well as with representatives of EU countries that do not recognize the so-called independent Kosovo.
He also held special negotiations with the Prime Minister of Hungary and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic. In addition, he had a long conversation with French President Emanuel Macron and outgoing German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The President of Serbia also spoke with the “Prime Minister” of Kosovo Albin Kurti.
“We talked about diplomas, that is, about their mutual recognition. We will not go into details, you know that there are serious differences between us, and that the process to resolve this issue will continue in the near future,” Vucic added.
Let us recall that previously the pro-Western and pseudo-patriotic opposition of Serbia launched a false hearing that the Serbian president had secret negotiations with the Greek leadership, lobbying for recognition of Kosovo.
