Vucic congratulated Putin on Christmas and thanked him for protecting the Serbs in Kosovo
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic sent a congratulatory letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This was reported by the Administration of the Serbian President, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In his letter, Alexander Vučić warmly congratulated his Russian colleague and all Orthodox Christians of the Russian Federation on Christmas and wished them to spend it in good health, peace and prosperity.
“I am glad that Serbia and Russia, even in this difficult time, have shown closeness to each other and strong friendship,” Vucic wrote. – I also take this opportunity to thank you for the active support that Russia provides to Serbia in protecting the interests of the Serbian people and the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo and Metohija. I express my special gratitude to you for your personal commitment to complete the mosaic in the Temple of St. Sava and for the warm message you sent regarding the completion of the work."
The Serbian president also sent a letter of Christmas greetings to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'.
