Vučić told how separatists helped Serbia resume the campaign to withdraw recognition of Kosovo
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic commented on the unauthorized withdrawal of the Kosovo authorities from the Washington Agreements and their requests to a number of states to recognize Kosovo.
This was reported by Politika, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I saw the latest statements by the Minister of Defense in Pristina, who said that he asked Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and some others to recognize an independent Kosovo. It’s good that they informed us, thanks to them for that,” Vucic said.
The Serbian president noted that such behavior is a violation of the Washington Agreement, but thanked Pristina for giving Serbia a free hand in resuming the campaign to revoke Kosovo's recognition.
“They showed us the direction we need to go and we will do our job,” Vucic said.
He added that Albanians are nervous because things are not going the way they originally wanted.
