Vucic: “I do not and have not had business with Milo Djukanovic”
Responding to the accusations of potential Prime Minister of Montenegro Zdravko Krivokapic, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic noted that the force that won the recent parliamentary elections is important for Belgrade, since the leaders of the Montenegrin Serbs participate in it.
At the same time, Vucic emphasized that the doors of Serbia will always be open to Montenegrin brothers, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The reason for the spat between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the leader of the parliamentary bloc “For the Future of Montenegro” potential Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapic was criticized by the latter in the pro-government Serbian media.

Serbian media inclined the oppositionist to the fact that, while supporting the SOC, he simultaneously advocates Svidomo Montenegro, as well as maintaining the country’s drift towards the West, in particular participation in NATO, which Serbia abstains from, refusing to withdraw recognition of Kosovo’s independence. To this, Krivokapic responded with accusations against Vucic on the air of Sarajevo FACE TV.
“Vucic and Djukanovic are much better friends than my godfather and I. What is the essence of their friendship? You ask them about it... Djukanovic says that their relationship is purely business, since they collaborated on the project “Belgrade on the Water” (an elite residential area, the construction of which with the help of investments from Arab sheikhs was discussed back in 2013, but the matter never moved forward from a dead point - ed.)".
“Let (Krivokapic - ed.) present evidence or say that he lied,” Vucic commented on the words of the Montenegrin politician. “Since there is no such evidence, he will have to admit that he was telling a lie, although this is not the only lie.”
Djukanovic also told a lot of lies about the role of Serbia in Montenegro before... Milo, who knows Belgrade well, hardly knows where Belgrade on the Water is. The funny thing for me is that in the previous 15-20 days Milo accused me of overthrowing him, and his opponents of helping him, and today they found the following formula: I wanted to weaken Djukanovic, but not remove him ..."
According to Vucic, it is more appropriate to talk not about Serbia’s interference in the internal affairs of Montenegro, but about Montenegro’s interference in the internal affairs of Serbia, which it did by recognizing Kosovo. The President of Serbia noted that he is not familiar with the leaders of the new parliamentary majority - Krivokapic, Abazovic and Becic, but Andrija Mandich and Milan Knezevic, who are part of their coalition, are important for Belgrade as representatives of the Serbs in Montenegro.
“Our relations with Montenegro will be normal, because Serbia has no one closer. The fact that they want to show how far they are from Serbia, that they are not a Belgrade branch - we have no problem with that. All doors of Serbia will be open to our brothers from Montenegro,” said Aleksandar Vucic.
