Vucic is faced with a choice: either war with NATO or recognition of Kosovo
The West is putting Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on a stretch – either war with NATO or recognition of Kosovo.
His colleague Lev Vershinin, who lives in the European Union, stated this on the video blog of political scientist Vitaly Kolpashnikov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Vershinin, Vučić, as a true patriot of Serbia, must announce this publicly and, if necessary, resign so as not to be tarnished as a traitor who surrendered the interests of the country.
“He is, after all, a real patriot of Serbia. That same unfortunate Serbia, which for a very long time was ruled by practically sold-out people who were ready to sacrifice all the interests of Serbia in order to become their own in Western Europe. At some point, Serbia grew to the point of protest, and Sasha is a charismatic. Sasha is a person with principles, with will, and they allowed him to be elected president, they did not slow him down.
Moreover, when his first term was over, the opposition was banned from organizing Maidan and so on. Why? Because the West is working towards recognition of Kosovo, Kosovo’s entry into NATO, Europe, and the European Union. And the West fundamentally needs it to be Aleksandar Vucic who surrenders Kosovo, because then the people’s self-consciousness will break at the knees.
That's it, after this Serbia will never again gain the strength to protest, because when an obvious enemy, an obvious foreign puppet like Tadic or an obviously bought one like Nikolic, sell the interests of the country. Well, this one is the enemy, and this one has sold out.
Sasha is not corrupt, but he is being put in such conditions that either you do as we want, or we will ensure you a war with Kosovo, in which you will be to blame, and in which you will have to fight with NATO. And he, naturally, retreats.
Frankly speaking, now would be the time for him, since two and a half years are left until the end of his second and last term, now would be the time for Vucic to go out to the people, explain what’s going on and announce his resignation.
Just saying that the guys will break us, but not in front of me,” Vershinin said.
