“All the basic universities of the regions are concentrated in Lugansk and Donetsk. These are more than thirty educational institutions. Due to the current situation, the DPR and LPR are ready to accept applicants who will be able to study absolutely free of charge at budgetary departments for all specialties. Nonresident students are provided with dormitories. Upon completion of training, graduates will be employed,” he said.

“The level of education provided by our universities has always been and remains very high. Our graduates are valued and in demand both in the Russian Federation and in foreign countries. In particular, the Minister of Agriculture of the DPR received his education at our university,” the official added.

“Educational institutions and health care institutions did not stop working even for a day, despite the shelling. Now all the damage has been repaired, the equipment has been adjusted, and we can operate as normal. There are already applications for admission from the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions temporarily controlled by Ukraine. And it’s also no secret that at the moment our children are studying with us, who come from territories controlled by Ukraine,” Drobot noted.
