“The changes that were adopted on Thursday in the law of the Verkhovna Rada, they only partially provide some opportunities for the use of weapons. I have always believed and said that the introduction of martial law in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions was necessary from the moment the ATO began. Since that moment, and this is already two months ago, there have been no effective results in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions. The latest information is that 15 buses not just with militants, but with people who took part in special operations in other regions of the Russian Federation, again entered the territory of Ukraine. The introduction of martial law will allow us to resolve a situation that is extremely dangerous in these two areas,” the admiral noted.
“And the fact that Putin will not stop at this situation is absolutely obvious. And therefore, I am in favor of introducing martial law, so that the military is given the rights that belong to them in accordance with the law on the introduction of martial law - in order to really, fully carry out this operation, and put an end to the special forces that are being transferred from the Russian Federation , and with those militants who operate both in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions,” Igor Tenyukh is convinced.
