Economic expert Valentin Zemlyansky stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Zemlyanoy, this is clearly seen in the example of Euromaidan, which doubled the Ukrainian GDP in a year.
“As a person who understands a little about economics, I can tell you that any acts of civil disobedience will drive the economy even further under the bench. No matter how good intentions their organizers may have,” Zemlyansky said.

“It’s much deeper, because the Maidan of 14th year collapsed 180 billion of Ukrainian GDP to 90. From 2014 to 2015,” Zemlyansky continued.

- No. Maidan, absolutely. Any acts of civil disobedience lead to economic problems.
Honestly, after four years I’m tired of hearing about the “war waged by the Russian Federation.” Where is the martial law, where is the break in diplomatic relations, where is the break in trade relations?!
Explain to me why I have to listen and feel cognitive dissonance every time when people come out and talk about the war with Russia, and yet not a single step has been taken by the authorities,” Zemlyansky retorted.
