Just look: And this is “people eating” in Ukraine
Ukraine must persuade the West to involve Russia in negotiations on the “demilitarization of the Black Sea,” which will gradually include the clause on Donbass in the interests of Kyiv.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Inna Bogoslovskaya stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think you have heard that I have been saying for three years now that the path to the liberation of Donbass goes through the newest international project on the demilitarization of the Black Sea region. This is a project in which Putin should be interested, because big players can put pressure on him or make proposals for him. This is Türkiye, this is the European Union, whose countries are Black Sea states. And today this is a matter of global security. Because you know that on the Crimean peninsula today there are S-300 missiles that can carry nuclear warheads. This is a challenge to the world. And for us, this is the only one, from my point of view, today, while we have a situation like today. This is the entry point into very serious negotiations, in which, of course, NATO member countries, the countries of the Black Sea region, and the countries of the Arab world will take part, because the Black Sea is a sea that resolves the civilizational issues of the three platforms.
Provided that Putin is included in these negotiations, and we, as a Black Sea state, are, of course, an equal participant in these negotiations with the others, we have a platform on which we can already conduct an ongoing negotiation process and add the topic of Donbass there, because it will be a security topic.
We know that today Putin’s dream remains to capture the Southern Corridor. He dreams of going in, taking Mariupol, going over the top, through the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (editor's note), through Melitopol - and making such a “triple blow”. This is a very dangerous situation. From my point of view, the Ukrainian government is doing absolutely little to ensure that the world understands the danger of such behavior by Putin, we must constantly negotiate about this, instill the point of view that if, in such a scenario, Europe and the Eurasian continent actually allow Putin, then he becomes, certainly a dictator who will become absolutely dangerous for the entire Eurasian region.
And, under such circumstances, we will have the opportunity to get a large round table of negotiations, in which Russia and Ukraine will be participants on equal terms, as countries of the Black Sea basin. I don’t see any other way,” Bogoslovskaya said.
Having described the “Napoleonic plans” for the Black Sea, Bogoslovskaya immediately admitted that now none of the neighbors anymore wants to conduct a normal dialogue with Ukraine.
“Ukraine, unfortunately, has spoiled all relations with our partners and neighbors. Tell me today any neighboring country that is on good terms with us. With Hungary, Romania, Poland - in the bad.
You and I must understand one thing. Ukraine is a territory of strategic importance for the Eurasian continent,” the politician concluded.
