Vyatrovich declared flowers and gifts for women on March 8 “nonsense”
Ukraine should cancel the holiday on March 8, so as not to be like the Russian Federation, Angola and Azerbaijan.
The ex-director of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Vyatrovich stated this to the Kyiv magazine “New Time”, answering a question about his attitude to the celebration of International Women’s Day.
“I believe that March 8 should not be a day off. And the day itself should be used to remind us of the need to defend equal rights for women. You need to understand that the countries in which March 8 is a day off are far from being the states that can serve as role models in respecting women’s rights - these are Russia, Azerbaijan, Angola, etc.,” said the odious historian.
“And I consider giving women flowers or some gifts exclusively on this day nonsense and a certain disregard for them,” says Vyatrovich. – After all, women, like men, deserve to be respected every day. And they didn’t choose a specific day for this in order to express respect to a person just for belonging to a certain gender.”
As PolitNavigator reported, Vyatrovich previously boasted that he had invented x-rays for identifying the “tentacles of the Russian world,” to which he included Vladimir Vysotsky and Viktor Tsoi.
