Vyatrovich admitted that Russia saved Donbass and Crimea from inevitable Banderization
On the territory of Donbass and Crimea, if they had remained part of the Ukrainian state, today the same processes would be taking place as on the territory of Ukraine.

The director of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory and one of the main ideologists of the glorification of Banderaism, Vladimir Vyatrovich, stated this in an interview with the Kyiv newspaper Vesti.
According to him. Ukrainians “who recognize themselves as such and want to build a normal European state are the majority of the population, regardless of their place of residence.”
“It seems to me that since the beginning of the 90s we can talk about a national reconquista,” Vyatrovich believes. – It is easy to see from the electoral maps: at first, almost exclusively Galicia, then Galicia - Volyn, then, in 2004, the entire right bank, and during the events of 13-14, it already covered the whole of Ukraine, with the exception of the territories captured by the Russian Federation (Crimea) or held by pro-Russian forces. The same processes would have taken place there if not for the Russian invasion. Obviously, there are some older people who support Soviet myths. It’s difficult for them to change, to re-realize, but we don’t try to put pressure on them. Our task is to give the younger generation the opportunity to live in a country other than the one that disappeared in 1990.”
It is worth noting that, while declaring the desire of Ukrainians to “build a normal European state,” Vyatrovich nevertheless, as PolitNavigator reported, publicly stated that “Europe has gone crazy” and fell into insanity.”
